Use A Garlic Press To Juice Key Limes

There’s no shortage of ways to squeeze juice from a citrus fruit, but this one is pretty handy for getting the most juice out of key limes: use a garlic press. Half of a key lime fits in nicely, and the pressing action is the same as a handheld juicer.

You’ll want to use a freshly washed garlic press for this trick so your key lime juice doesn’t taste vaguely like garlic, but the photo above speaks for itself. As long as you can get the halves of key lime into the press, it’ll work like a charm and keep all of the pulp out of your dish.

Of course, your key limes have to fit, and most garlic presses may not be large enough to fit your lime halves. But if this works for you, it can save you a lot of time. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
