What did you do when you woke up this morning? If you crawled out of bed and trudged straight to work after hitting the snooze button numerous times, you clearly haven’t begun the week on the best footing. According to the world’s business elite, having a set Monday routine can pay dividends to your health, happiness and ability to get ahead — both in your professional and personal life. Here are seven Monday hacks employed by famously successful people to start your week off in the best possible way.
This infographic by online load provider DollarsDirect highlights the Monday morning routines of seven business leaders responsible for the day-to-day operations of some of the world’s most famous brands. As the accompanying blog post explains:
“For the world’s most successful people, each Monday morning is a fresh start to limitless potential. Consequently, it’s important that their morning routine sets the right tone for the rest of the week and how they get things done… As the adage goes, whoever fails to prepare only succeeds in preparing to fail.”
Naturally, you’ll have to get up early if you’re going to emulate the most successful people in the world. However, you also need to get a decent amount of sleep to avoid burnout. This sounds tricky, but if some of the world’s busiest people can manage it, I guess there’s hope for all of us. For more Monday routine insights, check out the full infographic below.

What time do these people get up?
I missed the bit where they have to make breakfast for a child and get them ready for day care and/or school? Or do successful people not have kids? The only part that matches my day right now is the “Wake up early” bit, and that’s not because I chose to.
Hmm… What exactly is a ‘successful person’?
Tell them I hate them
I’m not sure how relevant number 6 is. The “news” isn’t all that important to getting stuff done. Also, I don’t think this is a very good “infographic”. It’s just a list of points with quotes, and could have been better presented as a regular article.
Otherwise, good tips!
Getting splinters in their thighs from ill-advised yoga positions would be my guess.
