This desktop is simple enough, and Flickr user jsmorley explained that they wanted something just personalised a bit, but nothing over the top. The end result is this dramatic desktop that’s also easy for anyone to duplicate. Here’s how.
This is a rainmeter desktop, and you know what that means. If you’re unfamiliar, our guide can give you the basics, and really, that’s all you’d need for this.
Here’s what you’ll need otherwise:
- The wallpaper by Grivetart at DeviantArt
- The Rainmeter system tweaking and monitoring tool for Windows
- The TextClock2 Skin for Rainmeter
That’s it for this one. Only one skin, mostly because the wallpaper creates all the drama. Of course, if you wanted more monitors and things, you could always add them, but this clean look is pretty nice, and the setup is super-simple.
