Internode Launches Naked ADSL2+ In Tasmania

Tasmania has relatively weak mobile broadband and will have to wait a while for NBN services, so Internode’s rollout of its NakedExtreme ADSL2+ plans is good news for Taswegians seeking a bandwidth fix.

The launch of the services (almost a year after other locations) follows the rollout of the Basslink cable, which has greatly improved the competitive situation for ADSL on the Apple Isle. Internode plans to add an additional 10 exchanges to its Tasmanian network over the next six months.
