Everyone loves the ABC’s iView service and is clamouring for it to be available on more platforms. That process got a big boost today with the launch of an iPad app for accessing iView.
The free iView app includes the full content available on the ABC’s site, including access to the ABC News 24 service. One feature unique to the iPad version is Watchlists, which let you bookmark series you watch regularly. (The ABC is looking into adding that feature to the web-based version soon.)
The app also supports streaming to other devices via a cable connection or wirelessly via AirPlay, though that feature won’t be enabled until Apple grants third-party apps the right to use the service. If you’ve had a play with iView on your iPad, tell us your take in the comments.

No mention of Android at all unfortunately. They probably won’t bother since Android has Flash for 2.2+ anyway.

ABC is truly leading the way in fast, easy to use, streaming TV.
Hope it’s not too long until it’s released on the Galaxy Tab
