While we have a pretty good idea of what the Google Pixel 4 will look like, thanks to a tweet from Google itself, it’s still a bit murky about what it might run like. Thanks to new leaks, we now know a bit more about what’s in the trunk, other than a return of the air gestures, so let’s get into it.

Their upcoming Pixel 4 seems to be no exception. Which is a polite way of saying it looks like a dead dog’s arse.”]
There will be two Pixel 4 models, according to leaks provided to 9to5Google, the regular-sized model and the XL, a larger model. The difference between the models is apparently minimal (unlike another major release’s) but the Pixel 4 will have a 5.7-inch OLED with Full HD+ while the XL will feature a 6.3-inch OLED with Quad HD+. Both screens will have a new feature called ‘Smooth Display’, which will give the screens a high refresh rate of 90Hz (90 refreshes per second).
In terms of camera news, the source also had the tea. Both models will allegedly have two rear sensors; a 12-megapixel with phase-detect auto-focus as well as a 16-megapixel telephoto lens. Google is also reportedly working on an attachment lens, similar to something you might stick on a DSLR, to take its camera game to another level.
Batteries on the two models will reportedly vary in size with the regular Pixel 4 sporting a 2800 mAh battery while the XL gets a more beefed-up 3700 mAh battery. Both will feature the Snapdragon 855 chip and 6-gigabytes of RAM with a 64-gigabyte or 128-gigabyte option available.

We already knew about the bulky camera bump, akin to a phone butt, and the reintroduction of air gestures using a Soli radar chip to make it possible. If all these leaks turn out to be true, Samsung and Apple will have a serious competition on their hands. Too bad it’s probably going to be the ugly duckling of the lot.

But perhaps the crown for the coolest dumb feature goes to ‘air gestures’ – and they’re making a return to the upcoming Google Pixel 4. Very soon, you’ll be able to control your phone by waving at it, just like in 2013.”]
