It may sound weird, but there are actually a ton of bean-containing smoothie recipes out there. Because I like to wing it, I tried just swapping cannellini beans for the banana in my favourite banana mango smoothie. I could definitely taste the beans — other recipes might mask the flavour better — but it wasn’t bad and had a hearty and creamy texture.
