Deal: Get FREE Slurpee And Coffee At 7-Eleven

It’s that time of year again when 7-Eleven hands out free Slurpees and coffees to customers. However, there’s a slight string attached (isn’t there always?) Here are the details.

In the U.S., 7-Eleven Day is celebrated on 11 July, because Americans insist on putting the month first in dates. (What’s with that?) In Australia, we use the more correct date of November 11: AKA the 7th of the 11th.

To celebrate, 7-Eleven stores are giving away “free” large Slurpees, regular coffees, 7-Eleven Iced Coffees and 7-Eleven Coffee Melts until 2am tomorrow (8 November). The only catch is that you need to purchase something in store to claim your freebie. Tch.

However, depending on the store you visit, this could work out to a maximum spend of 20 cents or so. Not too shabby, we guess. 7-Eleven reckons it will be giving away more than 300,000 units of the aforementioned beverages – which suggests you shouldn’t leave it until late at night as stocks might not last.

For those who don’t mind prostituting their social media profiles, there’s also a chance to win $711 every hour by posting a “celebratory photo” on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #7ElevenDay.

But really, the main drawcard here is free(ish) Slurpees and coffees. To find your nearest 7-Eleven store, click here!
