Dealhacker: Free Coffee And Slurpees All Day At 7-Eleven

Today is not a great day if you are a horse, but it is a great day if you are after free Slurpees, coffee or money! Yes, it’s November 7, 7/11, and this year 7-Eleven are celebrating by offering freebies with any purchase. Plus they’re also giving away $711 every hour.

Armed with $3 and Google Maps, our intrepid sugar-fiend Chris Jager hits every 7-Eleven outlet in the local area. Bring on the brain-freeze!”]

I can’t resist a good tie-in and 7-Eleven just are lucky enough that their entire brand ties into a date on the Australian calendar (it wouldn’t work in the US). If you head into any 7-Eleven store today, you can score yourself one of four freebies: A Large Slurpee, a regular coffee, iced coffee or coffee melt. To redeem, you will need to make any other purchase at 7-Eleven (besides tobacco products).

One of the cheapest ways to take advantage of this deal – spotted by Facebook user Sarah Preston – is to just buy a Chupa Chup, which is on sale for 20c for 7-Eleven day and then grab a free coffee! That’s a good way to start the day.

Now, I’m not the biggest 7-Eleven coffee fan, but there’s worse places to get coffee in the morning. Plus, it’s only 20c.

Beyond that, 7-Eleven will be giving away $711 every hour for creative-minded individuals who post a picture to the 7-Eleven Facebook page, the Slurpee Australia Facebook page or their Instagram account with the hashtag #7elevenday. Obviously, you’ll have to have a public account on Instagram for the promoters to see it.
