Shopper Alert! ALDI is selling a huge Android TV for just $800 tomorrow as part of a Special Buys promotion. So if you're looking to pimp out your home cinema, here's all you need to know.
Today's 4K TVs come in a wide range of prices; from less than $500 to over ten grand. But how much difference does this make to the picture quality? In a bid to find out, we pitted Aldi's ultra-cheap 65-inch 4K TV against one of the most expensive 4K models on the market. We also asked "normal" people if they could tell the difference. Here are the results.
Available from Wednesday 30 October, ALDI's selling a 65-inch 4K smart TV for $799 under its Bauhn badge. It comes with a smart remote powered by Google Assistant, so you can yell your important search commands when you're not bothered searching for things manually. That's pretty handy as typing shows or movie titles via a remote can be tedious at times. The remote also comes with a Netflix and YouTube shortcut button because why not.
The TV comes with a one-year warranty so if anything goes wrong, you'll have some peace of mind.
