Last year around this time, a lot of us set some fitness goals for the year. I asked readers to weigh in here on whether you’re planning to learn something new, gain or lose weight, or try a race or competition.
And you had some great goals! We heard from folks who just wanted to build a steady workout habit, who wanted to compete in powerlifting, who wanted to get faster at cycling, who wanted to build a home gym, and more.
Now 2018 is almost over. Whether you explicitly named a goal or not, I’d like to hear about how your year went! If you achieved your goal, or came close, definitely tell us all about it. How are you a different person, fitness-wise, from who you were at this time last year?
But even if you fell short, there’s a lot to talk about. What did you learn from the experience? What did you do right? Chances are you still improved in some way, or at least learned a little something about yourself or about what makes a good goal.
And then come back next week, when we’ll talk about setting fitness goals for 2019.
