January is a great time to get a fresh start on your fitness. Even if you don’t buy into the conceit of resolutions, for many of us the new year is the first time in months we haven’t been buried under holiday and end-of-year stresses. Time to work on a new goal! What’s it going to be?

- Will you learn something new? Trying a new class, perhaps? Learning a new skill off YouTube? Is this the year you finally nail that handstand?
- Hoping for a personal transformation? This doesn’t have to be losing weight, either. Perhaps you’re trying to swap a few pounds of fat for a few pounds of muscle. Or maybe your goal is to be stronger, or to increase your endurance.
- Do you have an event in mind? Is this the year you finally run that marathon, or tackle that obstacle course, or swim a mile, or hike the Appalachian Trail?
When January comes, will you be avoiding the crowds at the gym, or will you be a proud member of them? Heading outside for some winter sports? (Or warm-weather ones if you live in California or something? I hate you just a little.)
So, tell us. What are your fitness goals, hopes, and dreams for 2018?

Would really want to be a better and stronger swimmer!
Also want to lose my tummy fat. I do 3 hours of training per week but I am addicted to junk food 🙁
The same as every year, say you will be going to the gym in the new year and never do and then at the end of the year say you will be going to gym in the new year and never do.
