DIY Luggage Speaker Set Lets The Party Travel With You

You can spend a lot of money on a portable speaker system for easy BBQ music access. For a cheaper alternative, you could roll up your sleeves, grab an old suitcase, and get your DIY on.

Instructables user jm31181 decided that he didn’t want to pay for an expensive Boomcase, so he made his own. A few parts, some gently-used speakers, a suitcase and the right power components added up to the result you can see in the video above.

The luggage speaker can connect to any audio device, which makes it perfect for a party where everyone wants to play the music they have on their phones.
