Fitocracy Adds Social Tools To Help You Stay Motivated And Find Friends

Exercising with friends helps you stay motivated. Fitocracy, your favourite fitness tracking site, just added a slew of new social tools to help you find friends, join groups of like-minded workout buddies, and stick to your fitness goals.

Most of the added features centre around the new “Connect” tab you’ll see when you log in. Fitocracy has always had groups, but the connect page makes them easy to find, offers up suggested groups based on your interests and activities, and gives you quick access to the groups you’re already a member of. If you’re interested in a group, hover over it for a description or to join. Additionally, Fitocracy now allows you to add photos and video to your feed and workout updates, and unveiled a new dashboard that makes tracking your workouts and following your friends even easier.
