Asana For Android Keeps You Up To Date On Your Projects

Android: Project management and to-do organiser Asana is great for people with multiple projects or who work with others. Now the service has unveiled its official Android app that gives you total control over your projects and to-dos, right from your smartphone.

Asana works just as well with groups at the office as it does with family members organising a reunion or outing. It’s also a great tool just to keep your own to-dos in check. Asana for Android brings the features of the web app to a smaller screen: you can add, complete, edit and assign/reassign to-dos, change due dates, add notes, edit recurring to-dos and more. If you use multiple workspaces — one for your personal to-dos and one for everyone at work, for example — you can search to find items quickly without having to dig for them. You can even comment on your to-dos so everyone else can see.

We mentioned Asana’s iOS app when it launched a while back, and back then a common complaint was that the mobile apps were just app-ified version of the mobile page. The iOS app and the Android app are much more robust now, so if you’ve been waiting for them or left Asana behind because its mobile apps weren’t up to snuff (or have been using the unofficial MyAsana app for Android), it might be time for a second look. Asana is completely free for personal use and teams of up to 30 users.
