Todoist is an old contender among to-do list managers, helping people corral their work into manageable tasks for almost a decade. It's grown into a cross-platform tool that can be used for collaboration and project management, but was created simply because Amir Salihefendic needed a way to keep track of his work.
Mac/iOS: Todoist is one of our favourite to-do apps, and today the Mac and the iPhone versions picked up big updates to make them easier to use. The updates to the Mac app make it easier to add and schedule to-dos, and the updates to the iPhone version make use of iOS 9's 3D Touch and other features.
iOS: The latest version of Todoist brings some useful new features to an already feature-packed app. A new, single "quick add" bar lets you type your task along with due dates and labels, and the app's intelligent input organises everything for you. Multi-item editing is new, as are colourful themes to personalise your view.
Windows/Mac/iOS/Android/Web: Todoist is one of our favourite to-do list managers, and today the service updated all of its apps to support files attached to your to-dos, including photos taken from your camera, files stored on Dropbox or Google Drive, direct attachments, and even voice notes recorded in the app.
