Todoist Updates, Adds New Karma Points And Levels For Finishing To-Dos

One of our favourite aspects of Todoist is its “karma” feature, which earns you points for being productive. Now Todoist Karma is available in all Todoist apps, and it has been overhauled to keep you motivated at your desk or on the go.

Previously, Karma was only available in the webapp, or the desktop apps that essentially serve as containers for the webapp. Now, you’ll be able to see your karma level everywhere, including the Windows, Mac, Android and iOS apps. You’ll also be able to see a productivity graph at any time, so you can check how well you’re doing compared to previous days or weeks. The graph will also let you filter by category, type of to-do, or just see which day of the week you’re most productive. Similarly, the new app allows you to set productivity “goals,” or a number of tasks you want to accomplish every day or week. If you hit those goals, you get bonus karma.

The update also includes new karma “levels” to attain. If you’ve already reached “expert” and thought there was nowhere to go, now you can shoot for “master,” “grandmaster” and “enlightened”. As always, you earn points for finishing your to-dos, rescheduling items, adding things, and not letting items slip past-due. Your karma decreases when you let items sit overdue for too long. As you level, you’ll get notifications that you can share with friends on Twitter, Facebook, or Google+.

The updates are being rolled out across all of Todoist’s apps now. You can read more about the new features at the link below.
