If you’ve been waiting for a cheaper price on Google’s Chromecast 2, well, you now have the pick of the electronic litter. Harvey Norman currently has the device for $47, down from its retail price of $59, though it’s certainly not the only store offering a discount.
That’s right, the deal isn’t exclusive to HN — Officeworks is price-matching and so is JB Hi-Fi (though not online), according to commenters on OzBargain.
Of course, this price doesn’t include delivery, which is around $7.95 for HN and $5.95 for Officeworks. So best to walk into a store if you can — don’t worry, you have the time. The Harvey Norman deal ends on August 18, while Officeworks doesn’t carry a cutoff date, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same.
