Everpix Automatically Organises Your Photos So You Actually Enjoy Them

Is your photo collection strewn out online and on various devices? Do you have so many photos you hardly ever look at them? You know where we’re going with this. Everpix backs up your photos online and intelligently organises them for you.

The Windows, Mac, web and iOS apps sync your selected photo folders and also grabs images from Flickr, Instagram, Picassa, Gmail, Facebook and Twitter. It showcases them in a variety of ways:

  • Highlights (updated in the latest Everpix 2.0 version released today) selects photos from your photo collection that the platform identifies as best representing sets of photos (such as a birthday party or family outing).
  • Flashbacks dig up photos from a year ago and can also send daily or weekly reminders so you can go “Oh yeah, I remember when that happened.”
  • Explore groups photos by categories: animals, food, nature, people, city.

You can also group photos into photo pages to share via a link or share photos with other Everpix users. And you can see all you photos chronologically too.

The service displays photos from the past 12 months for free, but you can earn more time by syncing 1000 photos and getting the iOS app. Upgrading to unlimited photos costs $US4.99 a month or $US49 a year.

The service takes some time processing all your photos (my account is still waiting on the “Explore” feature to categorise my pics), but it’s a neat way to reconnect with your photos.
