E3's Top Ten Video Game Trailers

Over one hundred video game trailers have launched during this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) - and the show hasn't even officially begun yet. If you don't have the time (or bandwidth) to sit through every single trailer, here are our ten personal favorites.

Beyond Good And Evil 2

We're still not sure about the long awaited followup to Ubisoft's PS2 classic - anything that's been gestating this long is sure to have problems. Let's hope it's more The Last Guardian and less Duke Nukem Forever.

The Last Of Us Part II

The best cinematic game makers in the business are back with a sequel to what is arguably their best title. In the above trailer, we finally get some gameplay footage (along with what is presumably E3's first same-sex kiss during a major press conference.) This one caused a big buzz during Sony's games showcase.

Cyberpunk 2077

Finally, a CD Projekt game for people who can't abide Tolkien-esque fantasy tropes. One to watch.

Control

We knew almost nothing about this one prior to the trailer dropping - but the perfect merging of music and visuals has us unreasonably excited. It looks to be heavy on environmental puzzles which will be a plus to any Portal fans out there.

Fallout 76

Bethesda's first foray into multiplayer online gaming is looking pretty good.

Gears of War 5

Yep, it's another Gears game. Some people are definitely excited about this one.

Overkill's The Walking Dead

Here's the final character trailer to Overkill's belated take on the Walking Dead universe. Like the comic and TV show, it doesn't pull any punches when it comes to depictions of violence.

Resident Evil 2

More zombie action of the classic, retro kind.

Spider-Man

This one just makes us want to play a Batman: Arkham Asylum game with Spider-Man. Spider-Man: Ryker's Island?

Death Stranding

We've seen quite a lot of this game yet nobody has the foggiest idea what it's all about. This is a Good Thing.

E3 2018's Best Game Trailers [Updated]

The best part of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is the action-packed trailers for upcoming games. Some show gameplay, some show ultra polished cinematics and some are nothing more than a five second tease. But they all get the blood racing if you're a die-hard gamer. Here are the best from this year (so far).
