This infographic lists eight items you should always use a credit card to pay for along with the reasons why.
In the below infographic, Business Insider lists eight times you should opt for credit. For example, they suggest using credit when you pay for a car rental because most cards offer car rental insurance. Plus, when you pay with debit, it will usually require a big deposit.
Even if you’re not into credit cards, the infographic points out some useful perks cards can offer for those purchases. It’s worth noting, though, that you should always use credit cards responsibly, and that means paying them in full and on time. Please don’t take this as an excuse to finance an expensive new laptop you don’t need with credit!

If you are a fan of the lay by or leaving a deposit for something then use a CC. I have a friend that paid deposit for two ovens and then the retailer when bust. Needless to say they were a long way down the creditor list.
