Eating is as big a part of the holidays as tinsel and twinkly lights, and it’s not your fault if you overdo it a bit here or there. This tasty tonic from Bon Appetit will help you digest all of those carbs and sweets, and get you ready for your next slice of pie.
Click the link below for the full recipe, but you’ll need to stock up on mint, ginger, fennel, and cayenne, all of which are known for their tummy-soothing skills. Muddle the botanicals in a large measuring cup until they’re nice and broken up, then add in vinegar, honey, and bitters along with three cups of cold water. Stir, chill, strain, sip. Eat another cookie, repeat.

Fernet Branca. Add ice and Coke to suit.
I can also attest Cynar, Amaro Montenegro (ice), Rabarbaro Zucca and China Martini (add hot water) work if Branca is not to your liking.
Damned sight less work involved and you only need a small amount.
Or just don’t be a piggy and eat less.
