Google has launched the Pixel C, the first tablet created specifically for Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Here are the official specs and pricing for Australia.
The 10.2-inch Pixel C tablet is a pure Google device running on the company’s latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. This is the first tablet designed with Marshmallow in mind and Google has promised regular security and feature updates for the Pixel C.
It doesn’t come with a keyboard. That’s sold separately for $199.
Here are the specs for the Pixel C:
|OS||Android 6.0 Marshmallow|
|Dimensions||242 x 179 x 7 mm|
|Processor||NVIDIA Tegra X1 with Maxwell GPU|
|Rear Camera / Front Camera||8MP / 2MP|
|Battery / Power||34.2 Wh / 15W USB Type-C adapter. More than 10 hours battery life.|

The Pixel C with 32GB of storage is priced at $699 and the 64GB version costs $899. The base model has a price tag of US$499 in the US, which converts to around $692, so you’re not really paying an “Australian tax” on the device.
