Open offices aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but Movember’s open office matches the organisation’s values and purpose.
As explained by Mark Hedstrom, Country Director for Movember US on the Office Stylist:
Movember wanted to design an inspiring place for its team to come to work. With one of Movember’s values being innovation, the design and casual working areas encourage staff to think differently and challenge the norms that exist in the charity world. A converted dance studio, Movember’s offices offer an open, creative space that encourages collaboration and allows the Movember US team to collaborate and think outside the box.
Movember is all about bringing the community together, and getting men have conversations about their health. To bring that to life, the Movember offices also include a community barbershop as well as conference rooms available for other groups to utilise.

It’s a cool, huge space, purposely designed to foster collaboration (though there are still individual touches like those exercise ball chairs).
