Android/Chrome/Firefox/Opera/Safari/Web: Services like Pocket and Instapaper are great for saving articles to read later, but they’re not always good at finding new and interesting stories around the web. ReadingPack is a new service that can do both, and looks good at the same time.
ReadingPack is a lot like other bookmarking services, but its focus on helping you find new and interesting things to read and connecting with users who share your interests makes it stand out. Sure, you can share articles with friends on Twitter and Facebook, but the service really shines when you subscribe to other ReadingPack users who have their own articles to recommend. When they do promote articles, you’ll get notified that there’s something new and awesome to read. As well, the service is completely free.
There are several ways to get your articles into ReadingPack, and extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera. You could use the browser bookmarklet if you prefer. ReadingPack also supports mobile browsers, and the ReadingPack app for Android lets you save stories on the go and read suggestions from your reading list. The app supports IFTTT, and has a large number of starter recipes to help you get going with it. You can even email articles to ReadingPack to have them added to your list. Then, when you recommend them, everyone who follows you will get notified that you found something you think is really worth reading.
ReadingPack is new, so you may have to do a little looking around to find someone to follow, but it’s still great as a place to store bookmarks and articles to read later. Hit the link below to give it a try.
