Pancakes aren’t the healthiest breakfast option, but that’s not so true if they’re made with bananas. Here’s how to make easy pancakes with two (or two and a half) ingredients.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Two large, ripe bananas
- Four eggs
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
Just mix this all up together thoroughly (by hand or with a mixer) and cook in a frypan like any pancake. Having made several variations of flour-less banana pancakes, I believe you’ll appreciate adding the baking powder. Without it, they don’t rise much and can feel a bit like banana eggs. That said, they’re still tasty and very quick to make. Don’t expect your standard pancake and you might be pleasantly surprised.

Eggs milk and flour, pancake power! Look at his milky yellow sunshine face!
.. Beyond taste, does this actually have any benefits? Being fruit based, more sugar. Also more eggs (my ratio is 1:1:1 of egg:cup milk:cup flower)
flower? Flour.
for an even lazier option, greens actually makes banana pancake shake. you just add milk to it, shake and pour in the pan
When pancakes have so few ingredients to begin with… man we are getting lazy.
Hands down the worst pancakes ever…… might work as batter for french toast
