How To Draw A Great-Looking Butt In Five Pen Strokes [Video]

There are moments in life when it behooves one to be able to draw a realistic looking arse. It could be to amuse your kids, to insult an uptight colleague or to gratify yourself during the Apocalypse with some DIY pornography (the internet will have probably stopped working, y'see). This in-depth video shows how it's done using just five lines. Male and female butts both included!

Karl Gude is an artist who used to be the director of information graphics for US magazine Newsweek. In the video below, Gude demonstrates how to draw a perfect derriere in just five pen strokes. The clip includes a step-by-step guide for drawing large butts, skinny butts, normal butts and butts with big hips and thighs. "Also, a butt from the side," Gude explains on his YouTube page. Bless.

So what are you waiting for? Grab a pen, click on the video below and get "cracking"! [You're fired — Ed.]

(For those who were wondering, Gude utters the word "butt" 27 times in the above video. Class dismissed.)

Just a question on that "See Also" section. For drawing the perfect behind, could anyone recommend me a good App for the iPad that does vectors and has most if not all of the Adobe Illustrator features? (like smoothing and pathfinder tools?) Doesn't matter if it's free or a paid app. I just haven't found any good ones yet.

I like big butts and I cannot lie....

      you other brothers can't deny

That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist...

And a round thing in your face...

You get sprung, wanna pull out your tough...

'Cause you noticed that butt was stuffed

I'm sorry, but that butt looks AWFUL.

Are you the official Reddit Re-poster?

Actually, my editor forwarded me the story from Gawker, which is owned by our parent company. Don't be such a miserable nitpicker.
