Google Now On iOS Adds Reminders And Notifications

iOS: Google has updated the Search app for iPhone and iPad today with a number of helpful features in Google Now. In addition to new cards, Google Now will notify you when it’s time to get going and remind you of stuff you have to do.

Android users have long been enjoying Google Now’s improvements and reminders, and now iDevice owners can also rely on Google Now to keep them up to date.

Google Now taps into both your calendar and your location to automatically show you what you need at any moment. New cards include ones for event tickets, flight updates and public transport. The reminders and notifications features make sure you don’t get to a meeting late or forget to pick up your dry cleaning. In addition, owners of the iPhone 4s and later can say “OK Google” to start searching.

Google Search also now sports a simpler home page design, one-touch sign-in if you’re logged into other Google apps, and a few other UI tweaks.

Head to the App Store to download the new version.
