For A Better Selection, Shop IKEA’s As-Is Section On A Monday

Forget the maze, IKEA’s as-is section is where it’s at. You can find excellent deals on returned merchandise, and you’ll do well to hit the section up on a Monday.

As one redditor points out, Mondays are ideal because stores get quite a few returns over the weekend and put them all out after the rush. They further explain:

I got a sofa for 1/2-price that was in perfect shape, multiple desks and tables, etc like-new just by checking on Monday afternoon. By the time Friday rolls around, everything is picked over and there’s mostly broken junk left.

Also, talk to the guys working the warehouse. They know what they have in back and can give you a heads-up on what might not be on the main floor…They keep the different colours and such stacked up in the back.

Results will vary, of course, but it’s worth scoping out if you have time after work or happen to have a Monday off. For more IKEA shopping tips, head to the links below.
