Samsung’s 2018 Galaxy Tab Range: Australian Price, Specs And Availability

The Samsung UNPACKED Event is done and along with the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 9, Samsung showed off the Galaxy Tab S4 and Galaxy Tab A 10.5. Here’s what you need to know and how these two tablets differ.

Who Are They For?

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5″ is focussed on family entertainment and the smart home. It’s equipped with four Dolby Atmos speakers – one at each corner of the display – and includes parental controls and bunch of child-friendly apps such as Kids Browser, Galaxy App for Kids and a number of games. It supports multiple user accounts so the device can be shared easily.

The Galaxy Tab S4 brings a higher-resolution display along with support for the newly updated S Pen as well the ability to use Samsung’s DeX docking solution, which was introduced with the Galaxy S8, that helps bridge the gap between the tablet and PC world.

Both tablets run Android 8.1.
