Now you see it. Now you don’t. Meet the disappearing home office, where a desk and other workspace items hide in a bookshelf behind a sliding door.
The space belongs to designers Dagmar Daley and Zak Conway, who inset the desk into a space that was created by moving a fridge to another wall. Although this seems like a custom-built setup, you might be able to create something similar, perhaps with inexpensive IKEA cabinet doors. Seems like a good way to hide a messy desk in an open floor plan or multi-purpose room. Check out the full details of this workspace on Remodelista.
