The ISP market has rationalised in Australia in recent years, but there are still lots of options to choose from. Tell us your favoured ISP and we’ll include all the best candidates in next week’s official vote.
Throughout this week, we’ll be asking for your nominations in additional categories relating to technology, organisation and productivity. Keep visiting the site every day to see when you can nominate your favourites, and make sure you’re back when voting starts next Monday.

Telstra
Internode. Best service and support in the industry IMO, and only one outage I noticed in nearly 9 years.
How can you say it’s the best service and support if you’ve been with only them for 9 years?
Telstra BigPond 100mbps FTTP. Oooh yeah.
I want to say ‘i hate you’
But it would just be jealously talking 🙁
TPG gets value for money. Internode for excellent service and its mirrors 🙂
Ugh, TPG where I am is terrible. It’s dropped out three times in the past week 🙁
i should of stipulated TPG on their own DSLAM’s not wholesale 🙂
iiNet – just great. Plus all my xbox one updates, and 10gig Fifa 14 download were all unmetered ^_^
agreed. IInet.. switched about a month ago from hellstra and they are miles ahead
iiNet. Coming up on 11 years now.
Sadly unable to provide FTTP to my house, but that is hardly their fault.
EveryNet! Great customer support, every time I’ve had an issue (granted, one) they seemed to know what they were talking about and got it resolved ASAP! plus great quotas 😉 Highly recommended!
Telstra.
I used to be with IInet, but there customer service is terrible.
Really you went from iiNet to Telstra for better customer service?
As someone in the IT industry I’ve dealt with lots of ISP’s in WA. iiNet & AAPT seem to have the best customer support for me. TPG I’ve found terrible but the worst in WA I’d have to say would be eWire & Telstra unless you deal directly with a Business Manager who can do everything for you.
I’ve been using iinet for over 7 years. 1 outage
Obviously, everyone is just going to say who they are currently with is the best.
I am with TPG.
Haven’t had any major issues or anything really memorable.
Great value for money, and fast where I live.
Amnet, well priced naked DSL plans and good phone support
Used IInet, internode and Bigpond. Can’t really tell any difference, All top shelf.
Parents using TPG, very slow and constant dropouts.
TPG for value for money
Still happy with Primus.
iiNet
using iiNet and no problems, great support. have another house on internode, no problems in 8 years, great support – sadly neither of these companies care if your a loyal long-term customer.. if you gotta pay for somehting (even small,or one-off), you gotta pay! There’d be a good nieche for a company like iiNet that put value to loyal customers…
Internode. Moved to them two years ago and quite happy.
Last summer, one of my teenagers got a bit clever and tried to circumvent access restrictions (son, you DO need to sleep AND be sociable) and failed. He also wiped out the whole home network including settings for 4xVOIP handsets and all internet access. Ten minutes on the phone to Internode support and I was on my way to reestablishing the lot. Apparently, this is not an uncommon reason for seeking tech support – and they were so straightforward with their explanation about how to get things working again. Wish that our other service providers were so on-the-ball!
Internode
