Add These International Mangoes To Your Bucket List


The Aussie weather is warming up again, which is a great excuse to tuck into some mango. While you’ve probably heard of the ‘Calypso’ and ‘Kensington Pride’, there are literally hundreds of different mango varieties around the world. Here are 10 unique cultivars you should taste at least once.

It purports to provide a trail of the best and the tastiest mangoes from around the world and the countries they’re grown in. Curiously, Australia is entirely absent, despite Queensland’s esteemed reputation for mango production. Tch.

Despite some questionable omissions, the infographic remains a great checklist of mangoes you need to try. Each entry includes a brief history, appearance, tasting notes and seasonal info. The next time you’re travelling abroad, be sure to give one of these delicacies a try.
