Carrot tops give the pesto a slightly bitter, but completely addicting quality that’s perfect on top of grilled meat, tossed with pasta, or just spread on a cracker. If you don’t have carrot tops, this recipe can be used with almost any green stalk or stem, from beetroot greens to strawberry tops.
