Skype Translator Adds Support For French And German Spoken Languages

Skype’s real-time translator software is pretty awesome, and it has some new tricks. It can now translate to and from French and German, from spoken word to spoken word.

With this update, the list of languages Skype Translator supports includes English, French, German, Italian, Mandarin and Spanish. As The Verge points out, between these six languages, Skype covers 30% of the world’s native speakers. It’s a solid update to an already impressive app. While translator apps still might not be perfect, we’re quickly approaching the time where they’re good enough.
