iPhone: Living in a connected world, you probably have friends, family and coworkers in different timezones. Veern lets you add them into a custom contact list that displays the current time at their location, and then gives you ways to get in touch with them.
The free iPhone app can import data from your address book or you can add it manually. The fields available are photo, name, phone number, email, Twitter handle and their location, the last of which you have to select from a list. These contacts that you add to Veern show up as a list of contact cards in the app.
Swipe right on a contact card and you will get shortcuts to call, message, email, tweet or edit the person’s profile. Swipe left to delete that contact card.
For most people, the only time you need a timezone converter on your phone is when you need to talk to someone else in a different part of the world, and Veern makes that super simple.

brilliant idea, hopefully it gets picked up in ios or android as standard feature. If your contact has there international code on their phone number it could be integrated right into the standard address book.
