Gmail Attachments Revamped For Easier Photo Handling, Google Drive Integration

It’s been a busy week for the Gmail team. Having introduced new quick action buttons yesterday, Gmail on the desktop is now sporting an enhanced attachment feature which makes handling photos much easier.

The updates include a much nicer-looking photo viewer (pictured above), preview thumbnails for attachments, and the ability to quickly and easily save attachments to Google Drive. Like most Google updates, it will roll out gradually over the next week. No word yet on similar features for mobile app users.
