Unlike an app like Downcast, Pod Wrangler isn’t filled with a ton of settings to customise when podcasts download, how they download, or customised radio stations. Pod Wrangler is only about one thing: listening to podcasts. With Pod Wrangler you can subscribe to podcasts, download them, stream them, and listen to them. After you listen to a podcast, it’s deleted from your phone. You won’t find smart folders or playlist managers here. As a podcast player, it works great. Pod Wrangler is simple to the core though, and it’s not made for power users. Still, if you want an easy to use, idiot-proof podcast player, it’s worth a look.
