Gmail For iOS Updates With The New Inbox, Priority Notifications

iOS: Gmail’s iOS app has just updated with support for its new category-based inbox, as well as improved notifications for Priority Inbox users.

If you’ve turned on the new inbox, you should see the categories pop up in the slide-out navigation pane on the left, perfect for keeping all the unimportant newsetters and notifications out of your way. You can also head to Gmail’s settings and turn on notifications for important messages only, so you don’t have to worry about notification overload. Head to the App Store to download the newest version. (A similar update for Android appeared yesterday.)
