AirFloat Turns Your iOS Device Into An AirPlay Receiver

iOS (jailbroken): AirFloat is a jailbreak app that turns your iOS device into an AirPlay receiver. It allows you to wirelessly stream music to it from anywhere.

AirFloat is incredibly simple to use. Just launch the app and your iOS device turns into an AirPlay receiver that can recieve music from iTunes, another iPhone or anything else that supports AirPlay.

If you have an old iOS device not getting much use, AirFloat is a free app that works right out of the box. AirFloat only handles audio, but if you're looking for something with a little more power, AirServer is a $US4.99 app that handles video and photos as well.

I have songs on my iPhone.what is the point of this?not being facetious but how can I use this to its best

I have aprox 110gb of music and podcasts on my mac. So there's 110 reasons how I could use this app right there vs 64gb storage. Yep you could use the cloud but some accounts don't come with unlimited bandwidth so streaming the content I have in my own home over wifi instead of the net makes sense. Btw I don't have an iPhone but I have a similar app on my android handset and it comes in very handy.

dude, think outside of the square.

So stream to say old iPhone from laptop via wifi? Makes more sense
