Put Right-Click Image Properties Back In Chrome (Kind Of)

Chrome only: One of the many things new users learn about Chrome, fairly quickly, is that right-clicking on images doesn’t offer a “Properties” option. Get back your simple image information window with the Image Properties Context Menu extension.

As you might guess, this add-on doesn’t actually re-code Chrome but adds its own convenient pop-up to Chrome’s right-click image menu. Click it and you see a scaled-down thumbnail of the image, along with the image source, URL location, dimensions, file size and format type. For some users, this will be just heavenly, while others might have moved on from right-click image tending. But if you’re a non-developer like me, and find Chrome’s Firebug-like “Inspect Element” menus confusing, you’ll probably dig this extension.

Image Properties Context Menu is a free download for Chrome browsers only.
