Reader Royale with Cheese loves flat desktops, and so do we. This time around his desktop pays homage to the legendary fuzz pedal, the Big Muff. It’s a simple, flat look that says a lot if you know what to look for. Here’s how it’s all set up.
Musicians and music lovers probably didn’t even need me to tell you what kind of pedal that was, which is part of what makes this desktop so awesome. The other cool aspect is that it’s a Linux desktop, and we haven’t seen one of those for a while. Here’s what you’ll need to make your own Linux system look like this:
- The wallpaper
- The Flatty theme for Cinnamon
- The Libra theme for GTK3
- The Docky app launcher for the dock at the bottom of the screen
- The Ulta Flat Icon pack to replace the dock and system icons
That’s all there is to this one! If you’re already running Linux with Cinnamon on top (like Linux Mint, for example) then the rest should be pretty easy for you.
