Instantly Select Text With Similar Formatting In Google Docs

If you’ve ever finished writing something only to realise it’s formatted incorrectly, you know it can be a pain to fix. Fortunately, Google Docs now has an option to quickly change the formatting of an entire document on the fly.

All you need to do is select a block of formatted text, right-click and choose “Select all matching text”. You can then change the formatting of all your similar text at once.

As well as letting you easily reformat headlines or other elements, this is a handy option for students who need to switch between different formatting styles for different subjects. (Microsoft Word has offered a similar option for some time.)
