Almost Three-Quarters Of Australians Now Have Digital TV

The last time we looked at digital TV conversion figures, 68 per cent of Australians had made the switch. In the latest quarterly report from the Digital Switchover Taskforce, that figure is up to 74 per cent.

The next region to switch to digital-only, following Mildura-Sunraysia in June, is regional South Australia. 77 per cent of households there have digital equipment, up from 74 per cent last quarter. That’s a reasonable conversion rate, but one that will need a bit of work before the December 15 switch-off.
