iPrimus Offering Unmetred TiVo Downloads

Downloading movies from TiVo can be a potentially ruinous exercise for your bandwidth cap, so it’s good to see iPrimus following Internode’s lead and offering uncapped downloads for TiVo users.

iPrimus will begin its unmetered offering from June. As Nick speculates in reporting the announcement over at Gizmodo, there’s likely to be more such alliances in the future. The question will be how many any one ISP supports: Internode and iPrimus, for instance, both also offer uncapped iView, iiNet combines iView and the iTunes store, and BigPond doesn’t count music or movie purchases and downloads by its customers.
