Destiny 2 Won't Use Dedicated Servers On PC

May 19, 2017, 3:47pm

Pathetic. A triple A game without dedicated servers is just blatant cost cutting.

I Went To Australia's League Of Legends Final And I Was Very Confused

I Went To Australia's League Of Legends Final And I Was Very Confused

Aug 10, 2015, 4:04pm

I had a party on the night of the OPL final and I chucked the Twitch stream on like any ol sporting event and I sat there and explained the game in 15 minutes to people who were curious and I actually had a whole bunch of people really enjoying the event without ever playing League of Legends. It definitely requires explanation to the uninitiated but just like any sporting event if there is someone there explaining it to you a bit as you go it becomes much more enjoyable and accessible.

Diablo II's Iconic Cube Is Returning To Diablo III

Jun 25, 2015, 1:12pm

It really does keep coming back doesn't it. I remember at launch it was pretty rubbish then 12 months later it was...ok. From RoS onwards its just been killing it, each season seems to bring enough new and interesting stuff that I feel excited to play again. Pity they don't do patches during season or we would have seen half these changes already.

Destiny's 'Worst' Exotic Bounty Is Actually Brilliant

Destiny's 'Worst' Exotic Bounty Is Actually Brilliant

Jun 11, 2015, 12:32pm

I haven't had any problems beating people who use thorn...they generally try to rely on the weapon rather than actually being skilled but that might just be because people are jumping on a bandwagon of 'this guns op i should use it' but it still doesn't seem to be as big of an issue as I have read.

But damn in 100+ hours I have only seen 1 exotic bounty *shrugs*

WildStar Joins The Free-To-Play Bandwagon, Almost A Year After Release

Jun 1, 2015, 9:43am

Exactly the reason I stopped playing - that and the levelling was SO grindy, same zones to try out classes, same quests. Nothing more frustrating then pulling something slightly higher level to have a nice challenge and then de-syncing and getting 1 shot. If its skill based it needs to have local servers.

5 Things I Love About Heroes Of The Storm

Just a note - in LoL you can try champions when they come on the free roster. When new ones come out generally they will be free the following week to allow people to try before buying.

League Of Legends' Latest Character Skin Is Damn Cool, Damn Expensive

Feb 5, 2015, 10:15am

Literally had to log in to downvote @r3sin and up your comment. This inst what is wrong with gaming - gaming is ruined by things like Candy Crush and companies like EA which charge $90 for unfinished product and launch paid dlc and game changing exclusives and create artificial p2win environments.

LoL is a free game - and as many have stated, skins give zero advantage to game play and are purely cosmetic.

Dying Light Benchmarked: Graphics And CPU Performance

Feb 3, 2015, 9:37am

Sure - but not everyone knows to do that so I thought it was a bit of helpful information.

Dying Light Benchmarked: Graphics And CPU Performance

Feb 2, 2015, 9:07am

For those trying to run this on some older Nvidia cards (im on a 560ti) you will get a MASSIVE performance boost if you install the new drivers and do your optimization through the Nvidia experience rather than the game itself. Dont know why but it does fix the chugging during cinematic.

Assassin's Creed Unity: The Kotaku Review
