Stan
It’s a bittersweet month for Adventure Time fans, with the hit animated series ending its seven-year run this month. The finale will appear on Stan on September 4. Other highlights for the month include the Jim Carrey-starring Kidding, the award-winning graphic novel adaptation Rosalie Blum, spook-fest Amityville: The Awakening and the continuation of Get Shorty, Better Call Saul and The Circus!
Kidding
From Executive Producer Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), and starring Golden Globe winner Jim Carrey, Kidding centres on Jeff, aka Mr. Pickles (Carrey), an icon of children’s television and anchor of a multimillion-dollar brand empire. But when this beloved personality’s family begins to implode, Jeff finds no fairy-tale, fable or puppet will guide him through this escalating crisis – one that’s as hilarious as it is heartbreaking. The series also stars Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Frank Langella (Frost/Nixon), Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Catherine Keener (Get Out) and Judy Greer (Married).

Amazon Prime Video
Amazon Prime Video is now available in Australia, and this month we’re getting a couple of new Amazon Originals. Here are the new shows available in Australia in September:
Forever (14 September)
Married couple June (Maya Rudolph) and Oscar (Fred Armisen) live a comfortable but predictable life in suburban Riverside, California. For 12 years they’ve had the same conversations, eaten the same meals and taken pleasant vacations at the same rented lake house. But after June talks Oscar into shaking things up with a ski trip, the pair suddenly find themselves in completely unfamiliar territory. Forever is an utterly original, insightful and poignant comedy about love, commitment and marriage, created by Emmy® Award-winning writers Alan Yang (Master of None, Parks and Recreation) and Matt Hubbard (30 Rock, Parks and Recreation).
