Whether you’re a fan of Facebook, totes about Twitter, a lover of LinkedIn or insane for Instagram, we want to know which social networks you actually find useful. Tell us your favourites and we’ll add all the best suggestions into the list for voting next week.
Throughout this week, we’ll be asking for your nominations in additional categories relating to technology, organisation and productivity. Keep visiting the site every day to see when you can nominate your favourites, and make sure you’re back when voting starts next Monday.

I just love Incarnate Time. You know, that unused social media trend whereby you actually go out to a cafe or bar and meet, in person, with your friends.
I know right? Weird!
Google+
There are far less “MONEY BAGS!! THIS ONLY COMES ONCE EVERY 11,000 YEARS! Share this and something good will happen!!!!!!!” posts, less friendship poems, and because it’s built around the idea of circles of people (instead of a bolted-on afterthought like Facebook), I know who I’m sharing what with.
The photography groups on there are very active and produce some incredible stuff. Very inspiring indeed.
If you’re on there, circle my photography page to see just what I mean: http://gplus.to/dgphotos
Google+. Great format, high quality photos, less junk than Facebook.
Google+ is a great all rounder. Public posts, private groups and communities and a lot of control over what I see and what I share. They also have great looking images that even include the ability to display location data (geocoding). Hangouts are fantastics – group calls with inbuilt calibration with Google Drive.
I got rid of my Facebook and I’m exclusively on Google+. Do I miss FB? No, there are less people posting their emotional baggage and more people posting their achievements. I don’t feel as drained as I used to while using FB. I feel inspired.
Google+
Biggest advantage G+ has over facebook, if there is a bug in G+, Google fix it. Not ignore it for 3 years no matter how many times you report it.
twitter
Defiantly G+
instagram
Google+, especially useful with its integration in other Google services ( YouTube… 😉 ).
