Instructables user rbyrer didn’t have much use for the wide-but-shallow pencil drawer in his desk. So he added a piece of MDF cut to fit with routed holes for resistors, diodes and other electronics component.

After labelling the cutouts the author finds that components are much easier to locate than by sorting through various bins. What other uses could you see for this type of organiser in a desk pencil drawer?
