If you’ve finally gotten off a long contract or perhaps received a new phone for Christmas, you just might be in the market for a new phone plan.
When it comes to SIM-only plans, there’s a lot of grea options out there that also come with a decent chunk of data.
We’ve pulled together 10 of the best plans that you can currently get for under $40.
The cheapest of the bunch is Jeenee Mobile’s Pennywise plan. This awesomely named option offers 23GB a month for only $32. The teclo is also currently throwing in a $20 voucher to spend on accessories.
But if you’re after more data and don’t mind spending a bit more – there are plenty of others to choose from.
As you can see, it’s not only the smaller providers who are coming in cheap here. Optus and Vodafone have also stepped up to the plate.
While the $35 Optus plan with its 30GB is quite good, my pick here would be Vodafone – especially if you’re after a lot of data.
Its usual $45 Red Plan has been dropped to $40 and comes with 50GB of data. Only $5 more for an extra 20GB of data? Yes please.
And while both plans are on contracts, they’re only 12 months which isn’t too bad.
But if you’re looking for something a little more flexible, Orange doesn’t have a contract and is currently offering its $60 per month plan (with 30GB data) for only $40 a month.
Sadly that’s the only non-contract option of the bunch. However, Vaya offers a 6 month contract for $36, but it only comes with 20GB.
It really comes down to what your priorities are – would you rather a 12 month contract with more value for money in terms of data, or a 6 month contract with less data but the opportunity to switch sooner?
